G3 Studio's signature items are wood pepper mills and wood salt grinders. Each wood mill is handcrafted one at a time in our Michigan shop. The natural color wood designs range from simple classy to the most complex wood patterns you have ever seen in a wood pepper mill or wood salt grinder. The professional grade, fully adjustable, grinding mechanism is guaranteed for life. The grinding mechanism is manufactured and purchased from Chef Specialties in the United States. Their pepper mechanisms are stainless steel and polycarbonate for the salt. They are available in sizes ranging from 8" to 12", and up to 24" upon special order. G3 Studio's style, technique, and process of constructing our wood pepper mills and wood salt grinders is state of the art. With epoxy like finishes they are meant to be used, and loved everyday. They are true art for your kitchen that will last for generations to come.

We refer  to our wood pepper mill or wood salt grinder body styles in the following manner; vertical/single segments, checkered, diagonal, and complex. 

Body Styles

Vertical / single segment body consist of 8 linear sections of wood glued together.	Checkered body consists of different woods glued together in horizontal sections.	Diagonal body consists of different woods glued together on a diagonal.	Complex body consists of different woods glued together in a complex pattern.

Top Styles

We refer to our different top styles in the following manner: solid, layered, linear, and four quadrant.

Single top consists of a solid piece of wood.	Layered top consists of three layers of wood.	Linear top is mulitiple layers of straight cut woods. Typical: 12-15 wood pieces.	Four quadrant is triangular cut pieces of woods. Typical: 2-48 wood pieces.

Note: Top and bottom of body are constructed to match top styles.

Note: For matching wood pepper mill and salt grinder sets in wood colors and patterns, it is best to have them constructed at the same time.  Once there is one mill made it is almost impossiple to duplicate the pattern of the other mill depending on the complexity of the pattern.
